Northwest softball dominated Newman with back-to-back five-inning wins, fueled by a grand slam and strong pitching. The Bearcats played confidently, capitalized on key moments and showed strong teamwork heading into their next conference games.

NW Hufft brothers on field together for one last season

Northwest baseball brothers Dylan and Brody Hufft have reunited on the field after years of sharing the game growing up. The two now play side-by-side for the Bearcats, cherishing every moment together as teammates and bond both on and off the field.

Bearcat Steppers take home national title

After a season of change and uncertainty, the Bearcat Steppers captured the Division II Pom National Championship and finished second in Jazz at NDA Nationals. Led by first-year head coach Taylor Merrill, the team overcame inexperience and doubt, earning recognition for their hard work and resilience.

Maryville football wins district championship game

The Spoofhounds rallied from a 28-21 halftime deficit to defeat the Dragons 49-42 in the Class 3 District 8 championship. Key plays included a crucial blocked punt, strong running and timely defensive stops. With the win, the Spoofhounds advanced to the state quarterfinals.
