Public Relations Campaign
For my Principals of Public Relations class, I was tasked with creating a campaign for a fake non-profit organization, Hands Together Community Network. I created a news release, feature story, social media posts and more.
Hands Together Community Network is a nonprofit organization founded in 2000 in Helpville, USA, by Alma Wood and Phyllis Bergdorf to support senior citizens who wish to remain safely and independently in their homes. Created in response to the needs of aging populations, the organization has grown into a nationwide network with over 500 chapters across all 50 states. With major funding support, including a $3 million grant initiative in 2019 backed by the American Association of Retired Persons and matching donors, Hands Together has expanded its reach into rural communities.
